A: They are classified as dual-use technology and can be shipped under an open export licence to many countries worldwide. Where an export licence is required, this can usually be granted within 4-6 weeks.

A: We offer a market leading 5 years on cameras, 5 years on batteries and 10 years on sensor and lens for the Mi-TIC 320 and the Mi-TIC S.
Q: What is the Ignis Engine?
A: The Ignis engine is the name given to the new technology forming the thermal core in the Argus range of thermal imaging cameras. The Ignis engine is comprised of the infrared sensor, the focussing lens and the proprietary electronics and image processing software.
Our engineers have made imaging performance improvements through changes to the sensor and lens components. These improvements give unrivalled background detail to ensure the firefighter can always identify even low contrast objects such as casualties or exit points.
Q: What product approvals do the new Mi-TIC camera models hold?
A: All models are approved for CE marking as well as Class I, Div.2 , & Class II Div.2 use in hazardous locations and NFPA1801 Standard on Thermal Imagers for the Fire Service. The key difference between the old and the new models being, that the new models have NFPA1801:2018 certification whereas the old models were approved to the previous revision NFPA1801:2013.
Q: Does the Ignis engine come as standard on all camera models?
A: Yes. All Mi-TIC E, Mi-TIC EL, Mi-TIC 320 and Mi-TIC S models now contain the Ignis engine.
Q: Are 1 or 3 button cameras still available?
A: Yes. The Mi-TIC E and Mi-TIC E L models are available in 1 or 3 button variants.
