MITR POWERED GOGGLE FILTER

Q: Does the fan in the MITR Powered Goggle work harder as the goggle filter gets more and more saturated?

A:  The flow rate through the goggle filter is extremely low, not like a traditional respirator filter which has a large volume of air flowing through. As a result, the fans and software inside the goggle have been designed to deliver a flow rate which is proportionate to what is required to purge air inside the goggle, which also reduces fogging. If the goggle does start to show signs of misting (after multiple hours of use), we would recommend that the filter is changed.
