AVON PROTECTION C50 APR VOICE PROJECTION UNIT

Q:  What is the weight of the Voice Projection Unit (VPU) compatible with the Avon Protection C50 APR mask.

A:  Currently the only VPU that is compatible with the C50 APR is the Gen 1 VPU which weighs 0.230lbs (104g) adding two AAA power cells (23.0g) brings the weight up to 0.280lb (127g)

Note Avon Protection is in the latter stages of developing a replacement VPU which will be compatible with all Avon Protection 50 series respirators as well as FM53 & FM54 masks using a user detachable mask VPU interface bracket. Product release date will be late 2026.
