AVON PROTECTION C50 APR SIZING

Q;  We are moving from the Avon Protection FM53 to the C50 APR -  In terms of sizing for the C50 are they comparable to the FM53 so officers in possession of these can order the same size or do we need to refit?

A:  We would recommend, due to the subtle differences between the FM53 and the C50 APR, that as a rough initial guide comparable sizes can be read across, but as they will be issuing new respirators to your personnel, all users will require an initial sizing by a level II trained operator using the C50 sizing tool (P/N 71601/31) followed by a successful fit test carried out using a Portacount system.
