AVON PROTECTION NH15 ESCAPE HOOD CERTIFICATIONS

A:  Type 1 refers to the specific classification of the equipment, designed for use against CBRN agents, device is air-purifying, incorporates a hood for escape purposes providing the users with filtered ambient air in emergency situations.                                                                                                                                                                   BS 8468-3.2:2009 (current version is 2020) is essentially a European clone of the NIOSH CBRN APER escape hood requirement. NIOSH has different levels of protection called capacities. The NH15 is CAP 1. No other products are certified to any higher protection level.
The NH15 should achieve at least A1B1E1K1. It is not certified to EN14387.
