APR (HM50) MAINTENANCE INTERVALS

Q: Can we be more flexible or extend the maintenance intervals for Avon Protection mask servicing as our equipment is used in limited risk environments (Tear Gas)?

A:  Avon Protection's recommendation is to follow the inspection and maintenance intervals stated in the applicable User Instructions. These intervals form part of the approved maintenance regime for the product.
If an organisation wishes to adopt a different inspection frequency based on its own risk assessment, operating conditions, regulatory requirements, or internal maintenance procedures, this is ultimately the responsibility of the user/end customer. Avon Protection cannot endorse or recommend periodicities that differ from those published in the current User Instructions.
Therefore, any deviation from the inspection intervals specified in the User Instructions would be at the customer's own discretion and risk, and Avon Protection cannot confirm continued compliance with the published maintenance regime where alternative intervals are used.
