AVON PROTECTION C50 APR SCOTT & 3M FILTERS

Q: We are using mostly the Sundstrom SR510 filter c/w SR280 adapter and occasionally the 3M DT-4046E filter on the Avon C50 respirators.
Would these filters be suitable to be used with the Avon C50 as they both feature the EN148-1 thread?

A: While filter canisters from other manufacturers may physically fit the C50 respirator, their use is entirely at the user's own risk. Avon Protection respirators are designed, tested, and certified for use only with Avon Protection filters. The use of non-Avon filters will invalidate the BSI conformity certification and may affect the performance and regulatory compliance of the respirator.
